Another week, another duo of missing co-hosts. Adam goes it alone once again. Without the meddling of other people's lesser taste in music to consider, he opts to play two solid hours of Tom Waits songs in honor of having seen the man himself in concert for the first time earlier this week. Included are two songs from the actual Chicago Tom Waits show he was at ("Falling Down" and "Time"). These are the actual live recordings from the actual show, what other reason do you need to listen? In between songs are discussions about his cat, his crack addicted former friend Neil and how he managed to fall and sprain his ankle at the Tom Waits show. Enjoy.

Ok, so I've messed up the recordings the past few weeks. Volume 7 and 8 have passed on to "save as" error hell. But here's volume 9 in all of it's low bitrate glory. This is another solo show for Adam. Doug and Grady were MIA. Highlights include new segments of "Songs That Make People Think I'm Gay" and "Shitty Songs By Otherwise Decent Artists", the worst new pizza idea ever and, or course, tons of great songs. Enjoy!

Volume 6 marks our first (and probably last) politically themed show. In honor of the 4th of July we play some of our favorite "patriotic" songs of all time. Your definition of patriotic may vary. Also included is a discussion about strippers who do it for the art, the ridiculousness of "freedom fries", people who mistake strong vocabulary skills for writing ability and I think that's it. OH! I almost forgot. There is also an interview with George W. Bush. Listen before the Secret Service tosses a stun grenade through my window.

Scenic Anemia Radio Vol. 5, Adam's first solo show. Do you really need anymore of a description? If the thought of hearing me stumble blindly through two hours of internet radio solitude doesn't make you want to download the show, nothing will.

This marks our first (and probably only) hip hop only episode. In between playing some of our favorite hip hop tunes of all time, we also take some time out to discuss the effects of Motley Crue on race relations in America, all of the reasons why LL Cool J has sucked for the past 15 years, the usefulness of a World Cup style yellow card system when dealing with two drunken co-hosts and...oh, right, and Grady spends most of the show doing a crossword puzzle. Nice teamwork there chief.

On this episode...Grady is a no show which puts a bit of a halt to anything that was planned for the show. Adam and Doug press on anyway. Highlights include more "songs that make people think I'm gay" and a horrifying segment of "shitty songs by otherwise decent artists" featuring Run DMC. Also an extremely rare Metallica mp3. That's all I can say about it.

On this episode of Scenic Anemia Radio, Adam, Grady and Doug play the "cover song drinking game". Drunken hilarity ensues. Also featured...a new segment called "shitty songs by otherwise awesome artists", a new installment of "songs that make people think I'm gay", a strange story about a half eaten rotisserie chicken and two fearless birds and, as always, lots of great songs.

An interview with Bono, a story about a Heavy D backup dancer and tons of great songs. Did I mention an ultra rare recording of James Hetfield singing "Would" with Alice In Chains? Right, that's on there also. The song and podcast were recorded on the same day. It's magic baby!
